Our standard maple harps have a thin, book-matched curly maple veneer over the soundboard, providing additional structural stability as well as a clean and appealing appearance. If you prefer your maple harp to have a contrasting soundboard, we offer koa as a special option. The warm sunset colors and curly figuration of the koa veneer add a dramatic touch and look gorgeous with the lighter tones of the maple. We also use koa for the base and capital to tie it all together.
Please note that we offer this option on maple harps only. It just doesn't look that good with the colors of our other wood choices!
