Our workshop will be closed December 24th & 25th, closing at noon on December 31st, and closed January 1st.
Those of you in the Seattle area who are interested in trying out the hammered dulcimer for the first time or kicking your harp playing up a notch might like some of our summer classes! These are offered at the Dusty Strings Music School - 3406 Fremont Ave N, Seattle, WA.
Hammered dulcimer is a fascinating, fun, and easy-to-learn instrument, and this is your chance to try it with no commitment! Dusty Strings co-founder Ray Mooers will present a free introduction to the dulcimer, and we hope you'll join us! You'll have a chance to get your hands on an instrument and learn a couple of tunes, and Ray will regale you with some history of the dulcimer and an entertaining virtual tour of the Dusty Strings workshop. You can ask the expert everything you've ever wanted to know about this wonderful instrument!
