Several of us are away at the Somerset Folk Harp Festival, and we may not be able to respond to emails and phone calls as quickly as usual. Thank you for your patience!

QuaranTune: The Final Project

A few weeks ago, we put out a call for harp and hammered dulcimer players in isolation to join us in a community music-making project. It involved a not-inconsiderable amount of technology, as well as a good deal of bravery, and we were really impressed by the enthusiastic responses, especially from those of you who had never done anything like this before. You jumped right in and figured it out, and to be completely honest, there were quite a few tears shed as we watched through all your inspiring videos!

We received more than 50 submissions, which made for a big editing project, but we’ve finally managed to compile them all. It’s a little messy, as expected, but it’s pretty amazing how connected you can feel to other musicians just by playing the same tune, even when you’re thousands of miles apart! We hope this will help you to feel a little less alone.

For more context, see our previous blog post, QuaranTune: The Social Distancing Community Music Project.

Also, if you sent us a video and you don't see yourself represented, it means your email somehow didn't get through, and we didn't know about it. If that happened to you, we're so sorry!
