Notice: Though we always have and will continue to build our instruments in Seattle, WA, USA, most of our materials are specialized and must be imported. We regret that due to the impact of the higher tariffs we're paying now, we had to raise our instrument prices on August 15th.
This pack of harp string anchors includes 6 leather washers and 10 stiff nylon splines, which are used to keep the harper's knot on a monofilament string from pulling through the soundboard. Washers and splines can be re-used from an old string to a new string, but sometimes one flies off across the room and gets lost in the carpet or eaten by the cat, and it's handy to have replacements!
If tying the traditional harper's knot with a spline is difficult for you to manage, you might be interested in String Buttons as an alternative.
Note: This pack is not intended for the Boulevard, as the nylon splines are not thick enough to securely anchor the Boulevard's pedal gut strings. If you have a Boulevard, we recommend snipping off a short piece of one of the thickest gut strings to use as a spline.
