Replacement Eyelets for Dusty Strings Harps Only

Eyelets are a small but essential part of a harp, and it's important to keep them in good working order! They sometimes crack from age or environmental conditions or fall out when a string breaks, so we have replacement eyelet packs available when you need them.

We don't offer online ordering for our eyelets because they have changed sizes several times over the years, and it can be complicated to determine which ones will fit your harp! So if you need replacement eyelets, please give us a call and we'd be happy to help you over the phone. We will probably ask you for your harp model and serial number, which you can find on a card inside the lower soundhole. You'll also need to determine how many eyelets of each size you want, or whether you want to get enough to cover the whole harp.

  • A small pack contains 7 small and 7 medium eyelets. Two of these packs should be enough to cover any of our 26-string harps.
  • A large pack contains 7 small, 7 medium, and 5 large eyelets. Two of these packs should be enough to cover any of our 32-string and larger harps.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot sell single eyelets, but even if you only need one at the moment, it can be nice to have some spares on hand!

For more details, see our information sheet on replacing eyelets.

If You Have a Non-Dusty Harp

As with harp strings, there are no standards for the types or sizes of eyelets used by different harp builders. Brass is a fairly common material, but sometimes they are made of other types of metal or plastic. The sizes can vary by degrees that are too small to see, but make a difference in terms of fit and function. If you need replacements for a non-Dusty harp and you can't get help from the harp maker, your best bet is probably to measure the eyelets currently on your harp and see if the common sizes available from Musicmakers might be a reasonable match. If not, try doing an online search for eyelets and see what you can find from hardware suppliers. As long as the size and material matches what you have in your harp, you don't need to buy them from a musical instrument company.

Eyelets for Harp Builders

If you are a harp builder looking for eyelets in large bulk quantities, give us a call to inquire about sizes and pricing. We have a minimum order of 100 eyelets per size.

For smaller quantities, we recommend buying from Musicmakers.
