These meticulously crafted hardwood stands fold to the size of a two-by-four and set up in seconds, locking open in a stable position. All points of contact with the instrument are cushioned by 3/8" nylon cord or rubber bumpers.
The sit-down stand is approximately 25" high at the front edge of the instrument and fits in our C10, C45, C300 and C500 cases. The stand-up version is approximately 35" high at the front edge of the instrument and fits in the C500 case only. Both sizes will hold any Dusty Strings dulcimer, although we highly recommend the Tristander as a more secure platform for the largest models (D600, D650 & D670), especially if you are using dampers.
