You can do your own harp regulations!
This handy custom kit of tools lets every dusty harp owner manage all their harp adjusting needs - from replacing strings and lever cams to regulating Loveland sharping levers. Slip it into your harp case pocket along with your tuning wrench, and have everything right there to replace a string or tighten a lever. This kit is created for Dusty harps built after early 2001 which have hexagonal, threaded bridge pins and Loveland levers. With these custom-designed tools and the included instructions, regulation and lever adjustments are within easy reach of any handy person wishing for a new level of independence. Note: it has instructions for working with round bridge pins as well, but does not include any tools for adjusting them.
This is a complete, compact and comfortable-to-use regulation kit, but don't let the price tag deter you from attempting your own regulations! The basic tools can be found at most hardware stores or on our website, and the instruction booklet is also available separately (see below).
Tool Kit includes:
These are inexpensive versions of the Technician's Tools that you can use for installing, regulating and adjusting Loveland levers and threaded bridge pins. (Tools are pictured in order from left to right.)
Included in the Dusty Harp Tool Kit, but also available separately as a physical booklet or a PDF download, this handy 14-page guide takes you through the ins and outs of installing and adjusting Loveland levers. With lots of clear photos and detailed, step-by-step instructions, it allows any harp player to become his or her own lever technician. Whether you are installing additional levers on a partially-levered harp, replacing a broken lever, or regulating existing levers, this booklet will get you through it.
If you choose the downloadable PDF, you'll receive a link to access it in your email receipt. The link will be valid for 1 week from the time of purchase.
