So, You Wanna Play Hammered Dulcimer?

Hammered dulcimer is a fascinating, fun, and easy-to-learn instrument, and this is your chance to try it with no commitment! Dusty Strings co-founder Ray Mooers will present a free introduction to the dulcimer, and we hope you'll join us! You'll have a chance to get your hands on an instrument and learn a couple of tunes, and Ray will regale you with some history of the dulcimer and an entertaining virtual tour of the Dusty Strings workshop. You can ask the expert everything you've ever wanted to know about this wonderful instrument!

The illustrious Harper Tasche (who recorded our wonderful harp model comparisons and is a regular performer and presenter at our bi-annual Harp Seattle festival) will be teaching four harp classes in July and August.
